Title or Location: Tom Baker (Doctor Who)
I am a big fan of Doctor Who, especially the classic series. I decided to do a few charcoal drawings of various incarnations of Doctor Who, including this one of the 5th Doctor as played by Tom Baker, my second favourite Doctor.

Title or Location: Patonga Creek
Patonga Creek is a tributary on the northern side of the Hawkesbury River. I have been fascinated with this region for many years since I first took my Naval Patrol Boat through Coal and Candle Creek, Cowan Creek, Bobbin Head and Berowa Waters.I have since painted many of these scenes. The area provides an inexhaustible supply of subjects.I also acknowledge Graham Gercken who has been an inspiration in encouraging my work

Title or Location: Cat on cardboard
I have been enjoying painting with watercolours for 5 or 6 years and I enjoy experimenting with different techniques. I especially like trying out different surfaces to see how the pigment reacts. This little cat is painted on cereal box cardboard and I really like the way the watercolour soaks right into the cardboard giving the fur a soft effect. Good quality watercolour paper is quite expensive whereas there?s always cardboard on hand ready for recycling.

Title or Location: Endangered - Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo (work in progress)
I have a love of birds. Frankly, I have a love of wildlife. The Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo is now on the critically endangered list. Part of what I do as an artist is to raise awareness through my artwork of not only the beauty of the natural world, but also what we are at risk of losing. My hope is to find a voice for those who cannot speak.Acrylic on canvas (30" x 30")Due for completion October 2023

Title or Location: Abbry
This is a pastel portrait of my youngest daughter, Abbey. I took the reference photo a long time ago as she is now 15 years old. She's a sensitive, caring soul and was a very happy baby. I hope I've captured that spark in the work.

Title or Location: Mystic
"Mystic "is an intuitive work in acrylic on canvas and measures 61cm sqr. It begins life as a few marks on a blank canvas and from then on each mark suggests the next one. This is how all my paintings evolve. I am obsessed with colour and composition which seems to come naturally to me. I know when a work is finished because it seems to let me know " there is nothing more to do here, it is time to move on" I listen to my work now, instead of my inner critic and it is wonderful to know I have cre

I work with a doctor that has dachshunds and she commisioned me to paint her pups! Done in acylics 15 in x 30 in on canvas. It was fun painting this and I put a lake tahoe background as the pups were actually in a pen and the owner has a cabin in Tahoe and wanted a sun setting sky.

Title or Location: ?Red Love?
This piece depicts a woman with an exaggerated highlight, giving off the impression that she is basking in the sun. It is ultimately a tribute to the powerful black women I grew up around, creating and being part of the inspiration for why I create. It is a mixed media portrait, utilizing mostly colored pencils and pens.

Title or Location: Wildlife Christmas baubles
Hi, I am Carolyn of C.Walsh.art located in Southampton. I have always loved art and decided to started painting again around four years ago after a long break. I mainly paint on wood inspired by the beauty of nature using acrylic paint but during the festive season I love painting on these ceramic baubles bringing gorgeous wildlife to your tree. I love to use reclaimed materials where possible and try to be environmentally friendly.

Title or Location: A Place to Breathe
I wanted to create a place of tranquility and quiet. A retreat into nature where you can take a moment to breathe. There is a hush over the valley. The storm is over and the water quietly continues on its way much as it has always done. It is here I invite you to stay for a moment or two and rest.
